Hey, I'm Crucifix. I was born in Decatur Georgia, just east of Atlanta, but spent a good portion of my life growin' up in central and east Africa. I speak English, French, some Swahili, a little Spanish, and can beat around a little bit with German and Finnish. I work in the music industry as a recording artist, producer, video editor, graphic and web designer and photographer.
I loved music pretty much my whole life, and started writing and producing my first tapes about the age of 12. By 18 I had started my own record label, Maskil Records Inc. and since have had the opportunity to work with artists like Bizzare of Eminem's D-12, The Youngbloodz, Goodie MOb, Cool Breeze of Outkast's Dungeon Family and a few others.
I released my first double disc album, "My Life's Prayer" in 2005. And am now currently working on the follow up record "My Death's Prayer", due to drop sometime in late 2009. Life has had it's ups and downs over the years, but in the midst of everything God has been good to me. My life's story is being published in a new book by the Grammy, Dove and AMA Winning group Casting Crowns, due to hit book stores in late July 2009, so if you're interested in knowin' a little more about me you can find the link on my band page.
