The word is alive and so is solo artist, “MR. ADONIS”. Once he has hold of the mic, souls are saved. His powerful producing, composing and lyrical skills demonstrates his musical diversity, which gives him longevity in the Hip Hop Gospel scene. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, MR. ADONIS started out at age 14, admiring and studying the writing, producing and singing talents of his mother, Vickie McKisic, who is featured as a background vocalist on Aretha Franklin’s CD, “A Rose Is Still A Rose” and CeCe Winans’ CD, “Everlasting Love” to name a few. It was his mother’s success, dedication and persistence that inspired him to pursue his dream. In 1995, he teamed up with some of his friends and formed a rap group know as “The Untouchablez”. Together they wrote, recorded, and performed in Atlanta, Georgia and other neighboring cities, building a strong following. In 1997, when they released their debut album, (produced, arranged and composed by MR. ADONIS formerly known as Snipa and Truth), they sold over seven thousand copies without promotion and received a lot of radio airplay. In 2005, MR.ADONIS began touring the club scene in conjunction with an independent Atlanta based company. He received rave reviews for his performances in The Royal Peacock, 20 Grand East, Pool Palace, Libra, J Paul’s, Lo’s, Babes, The Atrium and Club Money in Macon, Georgia. These clubs are raw Hip Hop clubs that play hard core Hip Hop but they respect and honor Adonis$ for telling the truth about GOD’S WORD

I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank all of you for your support and for listening to my rhymes, "Guess Where I'm From", "Listen Up", and Disrespectin God". You have helped to put me on the charts.

Happy Birthday Auntie Effie(RIP): Sometimes we don't always understand why things happen the way they do. My aunt was only 37 years old when she left this world. My family and her children miss her so much, but she left us with so many memories. I just had to acknowledge her today on her birthday and say I LOVE YOU AUTIE. God knew best.
