Starting off as just a production company back in 1998, producing for a local Sacramento group creating a demo, C.N.I quickly expanded his repertoire. During the course of countless studio sessions trying to create that “particular” sound, the engineer finally turned over all control of the “boards” to allow c.n.i to capture what he was hearing. After 4 sessions working on the same track, the song was finally finished.
He spent a few more sessions mastering his new found calling as an engineer before deciding to relocate back to the bay area. After a few years of hustling up capitol to invest in his own equipment while supporting his wife and 2 children, C.N.I moved back to sac, invested $5,000 in himself and never looked back.
Now, on the verge of 10 long years putting in work, and paying his dues, C.N.I is finally reaching his potential and goals. He now has 7 albums mixed to his credit, with 3 already in stores nationwide, and 3 more set for release within the next few months.
Although the artists he works with will get the credit, if there was anyone to look out for in `08, it would be C.N.I. His hunger, his hustle, and his ability separate him from so many others who claim to be “the best”. C.N.I will never stake his claim to that title. Instead, he`d prefer to let the music speak for itself.
