Getting to know…Dee Dee Downs
Dee Dee Downs is a solo artist with a voice that reminds one of Helen Reddy. Her music is a blend of contemporary country and gospel. With songs that will make you weep or get up and dance, Dee Dee Downs’s music will surely touch your heart and soul.
While Downs has been performing for years now, it was only in 2006 that she got more serious about her music. She recorded two songs in Nashville, Tennessee.They were produced by Mr. Michael Radford of A.M.I. Records. Lord Help Me Hold On To you and When the Rain Comes Falling Down represent her foray into the music business as a serious artist. A solo artist, Downs alone is responsible for finding her own inspiration for her songs. She looks to God, her mother, and her family. One song of hers recalls her last moments with her younger brother.
"Lord Help Me Hold On To You" is a Southern
Gospel song written by her Mother in memory of her younger deceased brother, Jeffrey Jones. She wrote these words while he was in a coma. The Lord took him home shortly afterwards. Dee Dee says that she hopes this song will be an inspiration to all who hear it.
" When The Rain Comes Falling Down " is a toe tappin , hand clappin, make you want to get up and dance, Country song. This song was provided to her by Mr. Michael Radford.

hi there dee dee sorry to hear you are having probs with connection but as always you spoil us leaving us a note when you have so many friends on here thank you from the bottom of our hearts ,
we hope that things are going well on the music front and life is being kind to you all on the smokey mountain life is all work here at the moment got another week in malta from 1st of nov have a splash of winter sunshine before the snows come my ole bones do not like the cold and wet now a days  have a wonderful week sending loads a luv and hugs your boys always nigel and ryan xxx

us again ha ha hey did annamarie give you any tips on canning she does loads of it tomatoes corn beans and stuff so in deepest winter they can open up a can of sunshine cant beat home grown they always taste much nicer than shop stuff so bottle up the sunshine dee dee and enjoy have a wonderful week leaving loads more hugs and love nigel and ryan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
