Title: The Power Of Prayer
This page is maintained by B.J. Collins, the guy who founded the 70x7 music ministry back in 1996. After all these years, 70x7 is still writing, recording, performing, and praising God with every breath! The band's upcoming CD, entitled "Born Again and Again" is currently under production. B.J. is backed by Bo Collins on bass guitar, Zac Reitmeyer on drums, and Chuck Beatty on guitar.
In addition to fronting 70x7, B.J. is also the director of worship arts at Homestead Park United Methodist Church in Munhall, PA, and he also leads the Saturday Night Band at Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth, PA.

B.J. feels a strong conviction to lift up his fellow Christian musicians in prayer, and to encourage their work for the Kingdom of Christ. He actively promotes the music of other Christian artists because the world desperately needs to know the love God, and music has the power to open people's hearts and prepare them to receive the blessing contained in God's holy word. God's word contained in music has the power to change lives, and that's why 70x7's songs are full of scripture.

"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." - Isaiah 55:10

P.S. I had to seriously rush the song to get it posted for Halloween so don't expect perfection. wink ;) I'm sure I'll wind up going back and working on this one in the future.
Enjoy

Hey,

How's it going? I've been pretty busy myself.

I wanted to let you know that I uploaded a new song called:
"Without You (Ballad of Dona)"
It's actually a previously unpublished song written by my brother Paul back in the 80's. Don't let the title fool you. It's not your everyday ballad. wink ;)
I'd appreciate it if you could take it for a spin when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

I also have given "Slay the Dragon" a complete re-mix. If you liked it before I think you'll really like it now. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. I'd appreciate any feedback you can offer.

All of my songs have been recently re-mastered for more dynamic range and a less fatiguing sound. Hopefully this will result in a more pleasant listening experience for all.

More songs coming soon! smile :)
Thank you for your support.

Hey,

I just uploaded a brand new song called Saturday Night. This one is something a little different from me. No smoking guitar solo but plenty of other goodies. I think it turned out pretty good. smile :) I'd appreciate it if you would give it a spin when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

Hey,

I just uploaded a new and shiny Blues tune called "Seven Hundred Miles From Nowhere" featuring Jolee on the vocals. I think you're going to like it. Like I said, very new and shiny. smile :)

It is the result of several weeks of collaboration between Jolee and myself. It was her first slow blues song and my first collab so it was quite a challenge for both of us.

If you get a chance swing by, give it a spin and let me know what you think. smile :)
