Rap should mean more than just music
Rap is a unique style that is different from all the other music genres. It is doing what is needed to survive. the plurality of people united by roots and origin. What attracts people to rap? Is it just catchy, the beats or something deeper?

Rap is the combination of lyrics and beats, actually it is lyrics spoken on musical beats. And when we say that individuals are united through music, meaning every single person in the world, rap unites together. What attracts individuals to rap? Is it catchy? Is it the musical beats that mixes the two together?
Rap is also known as urban poetry. This is why it is not the music for rural areas like country is. It is the underground power of those drawn together by music in bigger cities.

Once captured by the musical beats, most people (even younger ones) Start to hear the lyrics, and the lyrics may say how they are feeling that day. Most of you will feel the lyrics and the beat, especially when inside in a car driving at 65 on the freeway. It’s crazy how driving with the music "turnt up" has a way of captivating the mind and supplying a means of peace inside the lyric and beat.

Some hooks can be catchy and when sung with a certain tone, will stay in your mind long after. Top rappers have unique tones that some people may find attractive or sound the same as their own voice, and make it makes it more catchy.

One may say that Rap is the most pain expressing musical genre. Those who iterate it would say it "revives" their emotions not only dealing with love, as most other genres do. Rap is message is about life and its joy and its problems, primarily, ones of the Black community.
You guys should do the yourselves a favor, and never let Rapdie.

Soundclick -Guide for downloading free beats
If you are a upcoming MC who sings or or raps, you are probably leasing, downloading, or buying beats on soundclick
. As you download free beats to demo for your projects, here are some things you should keep in mind. First , free beats on soundclick are meant for demo purposes only. This means you should not download the beat, make a song, and put it on worldstar with tag in it. Not only does it make you look bad by rapping over a beat with the tag in it, you are hurting the producer who took all that time to make that beat. Another thing you should look for while on soundclick
are producers who really put time into their beats, image and brand. Some producers on soundclick are only in it to make some change from you, and you should avoid these type of producers as the quality and originality of these beats are lacking. Use your ear and musical judgement to determine which beats are worth on investing. These are just a few things you should keep in mind that I could think of. Continue the music, and support all people who make a living from their music

Lil Wayne Says I Can’t Feel My Face Transformed into I Am Not A Human
Fans have been awaiting Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana’s collaborative project, I Can’t Feel My Face, for more than half a decade, but Weezy recently confirmed widespread presumption that the album will not actually come to fruition.
“I actually got at Elz when I got out and told him, ‘Man, I think it’s time we really capitalize on that,’” Wayne told MTV’s “Hip-Hop POV” recently. However, the two were never able to get together on wax again. “He’s going through a legal problem. He can’t work how he wants to work because they shut down his studio. I sent him some music and he didn’t send them back in the time-fashion that I work.”
Instead of just letting the songs sit unfinished, President Carter turned what could have been a wasted opportunity into a new one. “I started putting extra verses on those songs and I’ve moved on,” he continued. “Now what probably would’ve been I Can’t Feel My Face, has now turned into I Am Not a Human Being [II].” That project is a follow up to I Am Not a Human Being, released in the summer of 2010.
Wayne and Juelz worked together a number of times in years past, notably on songs such as “Homerun,” “Black Republicans” and more.
In other recent Tunechi news, last week it was confirmed that Weezy inked his first shoe deal with Supra, as well as that he earned ten nominations for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Other hip-hop nominees for the show, which is set to air on May 20 on ABC, include Drake, Jay-Z & Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean. Source: XXL mag

Nas Discusses His New Single “Daughters”
Nas calls it “shit for niggas with daughters.” On Thursday (April 26), the hip-hop legend dropped “Daughters,” the new single from his upcoming LP, Life Is Good.
The track has God’s Son rhyming about his 17-year-old daughter writing letters to a man in jail, posting pictures of a box of condoms on a social network and him partially blaming himself for some of her risqué behavior for not being more strict. In all, Nas told XXL that the record was written and performed with love and honesty.
“Yeah man, I guess we’re starting to give you the next chapter,” Nas explained. “It’s like a story in a way. We’re about to give you the next records and give the people the album. That’s just opening up the album to people, it’s go time. We started, ‘Nasty’ been out there for a long time. Then ‘The Don’ that video should drop this week. Then, we open. The book is open. The movie begins. So ‘Daughters’ is like welcome to my world.”
Adding to that, Nas said he merely wanted to express what it was like to see his daughter grow into a young lady on wax.
“Man, that’s what I try to put into one song,” he added. “Boy, it’s amazing, man. She’s so important to me and she always has been. They grow so fast and time flies man. Before you know it, you’re looking at a little lady.
“She’s my first kid, my first time watching a child become a teen and a little adult before my eyes,” he continued, poignantly. “That’s one of the most important things in my life. She is. I can’t get away from talking about it. It’s actually one of the first songs I recorded for this album.” Source: XXL mag

Some motivation
Building a brand is the thing everyone should be focused on in the music industry. Most people don't understand the necessary grind that it takes to succeed. I believe there is no such things as the industry is overcrowded, or no one listens to this type of music anymore; its all about you! If you build a brand around yourself, your style, and your music. Some people are not going to be a fan of your music; accept this "crushing" fact and focus on the people that will like your music. These are the steps to success with your music.

Artists: Think about your music as a business
One of the things you should think about when your doing music is: are you in it as a hobby or a career? If you you are in it for a hobby you should not think about this as a business. However if you plan on making a full-time income with music, you will need to change the way you think. Get your royalties coming in with ASCAP or BMI, get a business name, bank account, and a nice looking website. In the beginning, you will be handling the work a lot of different people, like a booking agent, a promoter, as well as being the artist. Once you make money, howevSoundclick

How to achieve your music business goals
We all have goals in our business that we must push ourselves to achieve. Here are a few tips to keep you focused. Make sure to set small goals if you haven't accomplished them yet. For instance, if you have never booked a show, your small goals should be: get my first show, and your big goals should be something like: make over $10K from touring. By setting smaller, more targeted goals, you can have a higher chance of success in whatever part of the industry you are trying to succeed in. Finally, make sure you always push your limits. The harder you work, the more success you will see.Soundclick

Artists: Why you should give more to get more
A simple rule of thumb as a artist, is to give as much as possible to your fans. Whatever type of audience you are going for, you want to put out as much content as you can for these people. If your fans like videos, you should be making a video a day at least. If your fans love to see live shows, sitting in your house, won't help you gather fans. You can complain about the state of the music industry, but the facts are the same: You can do whatever you want in life, it all depends on you. You can wait around for the next big opportunity, or you can go out and make those connections yourself. Most big breaks and opportunities are given to the people who are already doing something. What does this mean for you? you should be doing somethingSoundclick

Soundclick Beats - Why you should Purchase a lease
If you want to brand yourself as a artist, keeping control of the image you want to portray is very vital to your success. Professionalism is one of the key elements you should be focused on. Simply put, rapping over tagged beats is bad for your image. You come off as a broke person that doesn't want to invest in his or herself. Don't mess up your brand by looking cheap. When you hear a beat you want to use for your album or mixtape, invest in the untagged lease and really step up your image. all the top rappers pay for beats and promotion; ask yourself: Do I really want to put my all into this or just continue to expect my dreams to be handed to me? You gotta go out there and get it!
