Strangefire is a touring band based in Orlando Florida. We are currently touring the East Coast and have shows booked in several major cities. Look for our tour schedule in our blog. The songs posted here are by my old band, Strangefire, which disbanded in 2008. The new members are myself (Tak! Keyboards, Drum Machine, Vocals), Matt Harrington (Guitar, Vocals), Deron Michaels (lead guitar) and Brett Danials (Bass).

Interview with Tak by Kelly Rodgers: cont.:
Kelly: I dont know about that Tak. It's clear to everyone in Orlando that you are the one pulling the strings in this outfit. How do the other members respond to you?
Tak: We get along fine. Once again, it's not about the members. It's about the fans and the music. I could do what I do with any members, and I'm really not all that.
Kelly: I think your modesty is refreshing. But I don't agree. Without you, the other members are just another rock band. You are the something special that the fans come to see. Didn't you hear them before the encore? They were chanting Tak, Tak, Tak! Not Strangefire.

Interview with Tak by Kelly Rodgers; Orlando Sun Times:
I dont normally do club reviews, however after listining to Orlando based Strangefire I have decided to make an exception. I was sent to the bands Myspace site by an anonomous tip and was VERY impressed with the haunting lyrical styles and highly synthesized work of the original members, Mike Ash and Tak. When I went to the show, I expected to be disapointed, knowing that Mr. Ash was no longer in tow. However, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that none of the lyrical magic, nor the etheral feeling of the original team was missing. It it clear that Tak, the bands leader is a musical genius and will do well with any line-up as long as he continues to lead the members in the psychedelic dream
