"With broken hearts and broken dreams…I cry out for relief", Malanna sings in "Wanna Know How I Feel". A self-written song from her debut Cd, called “A Musical Reflection Of Light. Malanna Monroe was raised in a small town called Melvindale. She comes from a small blue collar musical family, a sister, mother, and a father, who has passed away, originally from Europe. Malanna began singing, dancing, and acting in musical plays and festivals, from the time she was five years old. Influenced by classical, opera, rock, and pop music, writing songs in her car at eighteen, as she was struggling to live. Producing and working on other projects in the recording studio in her twenties. She then began to write and produce songs with Terry Lee Bolton, recording her own music. It didn't take long for Malanna's songs to start airing on the radio and her video on T.V. There's a strong deep bluesish gospel rock feel to her song, "Wanna Know How I Feel", and her songs mix outstanding vocals with pop melodies that swirl around operatic flavored pop rock.

Happy New Year 2009!: Hello Everyone,

This past 2008 has been a wonderful year, full of support from you, friends, and radio. Although 2008 was good, it also has been a very challenging year. I have had to deal with a lot of family and health issues, as well. But never the less, I will still keep moving forward on this wondrous journey and finish my cd "A Musical Reflection Of Light". I am now dealing with Laryngitis (lost my voice) and I will have to rest for a couple of weeks before I can get back in the studio to sing.
