Miles and Hendrix, my point of view: Miles Davis was used to play with monsters, first Dizzy Gillespie, then Parker. I enjoy a lot Charlie Parker, I think there's some limitness on his modal. Every song is very tied to the others. Of course Parker was way better than Dizzy, and post musicians like Coltrane. In fact, Charlie Parker still is the King of Jazz for me.
