Not so much a band, as a holding place for a couple of tracks.
Why this name?
It's a deliberate mis-spelling of Madraykin by Queen Adreena. It's a long story...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We hear more music from more diverse sources as the years roll by. This can only be a good thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Unlikely, as I'm doing this as a learning exercise, and to enjoy myself while learning a craft. I can't imagine much that would make me as miserable as working to another's demands in yet another industry.

Favorite spot?
Plenty: I love New York (Kate's Diner in particular), Portland (best bookshop ever), and Stalheim in Norway (Europe's steepest road... walked down, then up in error)
