"Los Tres Hornitos" is three sax playing buddies who have never met. Pete lives in Sacramento, Larry in Bahstin, and Thom in Maine. They met on the web in a forum called "Sax on the Web" and started making "virtual collaborations" sending tracks to each other for refinement and mixing.

We play mostly straight ahead jazz with an emphasis on bebop.

Why this name?
Well, we play, like, you know, horns. It has nothing to do with a tequilla of the same name or any attraction to the fairer sex that we may or may not have, so get your mind out the gutter.
Do you play live?
Heck, we haven't even met each other face to face. One day, though...one day...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In a New York minute. I don't think any of us really enjoy our day jobs that much!
Your influences?
Trane, Dex, Bird, Pres, Bluiett, Billy Harper
Anything else...?
Because we generally play against commercial backings, we can't really offer free downloads - these are presented here in streaming format "for educational purposes". One of these days we'll find a real rhythm section to work with and then watch out!
