Keyz started rapping in 1994, during his 10th grade year. He was influenced by watching one of his closest friends freestyling outside during lunch. After that day, he began writing, and even recording, and down the line he went on to do performances whenever they came around.

Keyz has performed in over 150 shows throughout the Florida area, most of them being in his hometown of St.Petersburg. He has been seen rapping at talent shows, parties, special events, conferences, in schools, anywhere he could get on the mic at, he was their. Keyz also at times gets involved in MC battles, he figures whatever is apart of the artform of hip hop, he wants to be apart of it.

This emcee has been apart of 3 groups, Bomb Threat, United South, and DSRidaz, but when it all came down to it, Keyz always had a drive where he had to do it on his own because alot of situations made it that way. Keyz has released 2 self-produced LPs and a circa of mixtapes and singles which has given him a buzz throughout his area, with 1 group album to add to his solo albums.
