Babu is the Director of Keerthana School of Indian Music & Fine Arts, Los Angeles.
He is one of the sought after musician who is specialized in singing Indian Classical Music. He is a versatile artist who can sing both the Carnatic and Hindustani styles of music and Keyboard artist who can create great music on the newly developed synthesizers.
He has performed with most of the leading dancers in India and abroad.
He is one of the sought after musician who travel around the world and perform through out the year.
He is a staff artist of Bharata Kalanjali, the dance academy of the world-renowned dancers The Dhananjayans for the past 14 years.
He has performed in most of the major festivals like the Festival of India in Moscow.
He has composed music for many dance productions like Meera, The Nutcracker, The Cinderella, Tagores Shyama, Thulsi Ramayan, Kalidasas Malavika Haricharan and many others.

Babu created a computer based music for the contemporary dance production GANGA-LIFE AS A RIVER which was staged in Los Angeles on Aug 7th, 2005.

He has worked with Pandit Ravishankar in his musical theater Ghanashyam and was featured in the album Chants of India by Pandit Ravishankar and George Harrison of the Beatles.

Babu is first South Indian musician to get the green card on his own merit and he is also the recipient of the Washington Immigrant Achievement Award, 2004.
