Dub Station feat. Eri & the Didgeridoo
Welcome to Jupiter Dub. The World of Ambient Space Dub.
Why this name?
The band name Jupiter Dub is a mixture of my astrological sign's planet being Jupiter and the type of music being produced...Dub. Hence I put the two together and created my project called Jupiter Dub.
Do you play live?
I am a studio project that hopes to perform in the future.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it more open to everyone.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend if I would benefit from the contact.
Band History:
Jupiter Dub came about one day when I realized that I really like the Dub Music Sound. The delays, reverbs, psychedelic sounds and vocals but only a touch. Then I added some other flavours such as ambient, techno and trance. I plan to be creating this sound for a while. I hope you enjoy.
Your influences?
My musical interests are Bob Marley, Big Bass Theory, OTT, UA, Dub Delays, Thumpin Kicks, Ambient Sound Scapes, Scifi Noises and Jah.
Favorite spot?
My favourite spot in Vancouver, B.C., Canada is a Japanese convenience store on Robson Street called Konnbinia and it has a big Pocky Box as the sign.
