Hi!
My name is JT MAPLE and I'm really excited to share my original music with you. Feedback is greatly appreciated!Band/artist history
I've played with 'Gregory James & the New York Flames' as lead guitarist/backup vocals.
'The Trio' was an experiment Greg Marek, Pat Gavin-Brynes and I collaborated for during a few school events and the kickass hippie-festival named MAGUA two years in a row. [music still envelopes many carpet samples in 'The Studio']
I've also played in both the Plattsburgh State Guitar Ensemble with Michael Fratino and students/PSU Jazz Combo[aka SUNY Shiites] with Rick Davies and band.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've played many venues as a solo act in pizza shops, but also have performed in various locations with an accompaning band and trio.
Currently, I perform anywhere from Saratoga to the greater Adirondack region. Live events are what keep me on my toes [and fingers].
Your musical influences
I grew up listening to Pop, but that soon left me empty..Rock seemed to satiate my desire for something more, but I found myself reborn through Jazz and especially the Blues.
I have a big influence through Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Al Green, Otis Redding, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, John Mayer, D'Angelo, Guster, Sam Cooke and other various artists.
My philosophy has always been that you can get something out of any piece of music, no matter what genre or demographic that it pertains to.What equipment do you use?

Fender Strat [American]
Marshall Valvestate 100W

I play/sing everything on all my tracks, I record/produce them also.
I'm continuesly writing and spawning new ideas, so keep your ears and eyes open.Contact
