Why this name?
My dad named me J-ROC when I was a baby and before I added RAPPER to my resume.
Do you play live?
A special moment for me was when I performed at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV opening up the COLLEGE SEND OFF TOUR. If featured Dem Franchize Boyz, T-Pain, Ray-J and Trey Songz. They were having equipment problems all through sound check and when it was time for me to perform everything was going smooth until the last minute of my last and third track where their cd player got stuck and skipped. Luckily one of our producers was there, he just cut it off and I finished out my performance ACAPELLA. No one even noticed that something was wrong. Plus, it ended up being a nice ending for my set.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allowed us artist to reach fans we never would of thought of having the opportunity to hear our music before.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
