Jessica Hawthorn is a Platinum Plus Universal Recording Artist. She is from Texas and currently resides in Nashville, TN. Her husband, Justin Hawthorn, is a United States Marine, and recently returned home from his second and final tour to Iraq.
Why this name?
Jessica Hawthorn is my married name. My maiden name is Clark, which I love as well, but I chose to go with my married name professionally because it is what defines who I am now.
Do you play live?
Yes I do. I have done a lot of performing in Texas and will be touring in 2006. Including a proposed trip to Iraq with the USO tour.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definitely!!I have signed a development contract with Universal and hopefully I will sign a contract with a Major Label soon.

George Strait, Reba, Martina McBride, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Alan Jackson, etc. I could go on and on!!!

I love country music, love to sing it, listen to it, and dance to it. I hope that my love for music is easy to see through my album and that people will see the positive image that I hope to portray.
