I started rockin' around 1968, as a vocalist. A couple of years later I picked up the acoustic guitar. In and out of bands and wrestling with undisciplined musicians, I finally decided to go solo.
During the years I picked up the bass and keys. In 1999 I bought some recording equipment and BAM! I am now working on my 5th release.
I also have a indie label, A.O.G. MEDIA, which I use to produce and distribute my releases, compilation cdrs, and a company newsletter. I also serve as a distributor for a few bands.
Do you play live?
With the release of A.O.G. MEDIA PRESENTS: COMPILATION VOLUME 8, I will be out locally singing at karaoke shows as well as producing Listener's Parties for the comp. the Listener's Parties will consist of me mc-ing an hour or two of my comps and distributing cds as well as showing some videos, when possible, and up to an hour of me singing with my backing tracks or acoustic guitar.
Your influences?
I have been influenced by everthing from Doo Wop, Pop of the 50's, old Blues masters, as well as the masters who reinvited it - so to speak - in the 60's, the new age or experimental music of the late 70's, and the Metal of the 80's.
Anything else...?
I am always looking for musicains for live performances. I now have enough music recorded and contacts through out the world, I could easily take out a band of gypsies.
