Jari was born A.D. 1970 in Finland and lives in Helsinki. He has been involved in composing music since early 90’s. His first exposure to composing music came with experimenting with the Kawai WK50 which was developed in late 90’s

PC-based music started to be developed also at the same time (around 91/92) and it's still strongly present in the music world. One software; FastTracker 2.09 used by Jari to compose his music. Image-Lines Fruity Loops was also used at that time and it's still one of the main software’s (now known as FL-Studio).

Jari’s interest/awakening to music (especially ambient/soundscape) came from listening to Brian Eno, “godfather” of ambient music. Jari’s music has been influenced from Brian Eno’s production. As a teenager Jari listened (and still do) to heavy metal bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera ...

The following artists also had a great influence in his music composition, mixing and mastering: Aphex Twin, Anthoni Jones, Biosphere, Depeche Mode, The Future Sound of London, Nemesis, The Orb, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis.

Jari has not performed in any “live” gigs or in a band. His experience in musical composition comes from working and collaborating in Television, Radio and Films. Jari has worked on numerous projects including background music for documentaries, television ads, and films.

Currently Jari is collaborating with Bobbi Coles Cohen of Toronto, Canada on 4 installations (global) to create neon and music sculptures titled “Mindfulness”

Bobbi is a self taught artist collaborating with international artists on various projects – Actors, Musicians and Artists of all mediums. She combines her canvas art and music to create visual and audio art experiences for the viewer.
