Jan van Lier is a DJ and Producer living in the NorthCoast of California. He is best known for his exciting and eclectic DJ sets, which consist of journeys in house, techno, tech-house, progressive, electro, minimal, and other electronic styles. Basically whatever sounds good, and keeps the energy going. Besides DJing he also produces music and organizes and promotes events with his group Deep Groove Society. His productions can be just as eclectic as his DJ sets, so don't think you've heard it all from one or two tracks!!!
Jan van Lier has upcoming releases on Loöq Records (SF), run by Jondi and Spesh, as well as Definitive Recordings, headed by John Acquaviva. He is also currently working on a smaller imprint, Knackered Tracks to release his music and some other artists as well. Music
Electro-progressive storm. I guess it should really be called 'Take Off' but 'Blast Off' sounds much cooler I think. Hehe.
Big electro-progressive tune. Tough electro beats morph into soaring progressive tune, and back again. Was featured on Carl Cox's 'Global' Radio show.
Latest collaboration with DJ Touch. More mellow and a bit of that classic west-coast house vibe on this one. Check it out!
Not done by any means, but a peek into some new sh***. This one combines minimal and electro sounds for some all out new school goodness.
A mellow and epic melodic house track with some electro tech tinge. Feedback would be nice...
The b-side to pufferfish...
get some
collaboration with DJ Touch as TOD/TOG.
get your pufferfish on
the same as 'Dawnarise' but with a cheesy vocal hook sung by me. hehe.... er, I mean sung by some supastar who I hired for lots of dough..
This version of Secret Agenda has some social commentary during the breakdown.
BEWARE: you will be immersed in a twisted maelstrom of sound and you may never come back...
The new mix of 'Pullen' this one is loud and full of energy.
We like it and we think you will like it too. Deep Tech-House
This is the non-vocal version of Higher Essence (club remix).
This is the vocal electro version of 'Higher Essence' by Jan van Lier.
This one's progressive and electro and super trippy. Psychedelic House music for you underground heads!
A melodic uplifting progressive house tune with a truly classic vibe. Nicely produced and hits well in all the right places.
Really good groove on this new smooth track by Der Einberger. Make sure to support this one on www.soundclick.com/dereinberger. Get it exclusively here on Soundclick.
Very, very nice remix by these two on this track....
Nice smooth and deep progressive house with the slightest latin flavor...
I need a vocalist on this track. Anyone intersted? Male or female with a good voice and either emo or dance sound. You can provide lyrics if you want... contact me at http://www.myspace.com/deeptech
A deep and soulful instrumental house track. Nice and mellow.
A spacey deep progressive house track getting a bit more on the old-school feeling with the clean synth lines and such... a throwback to the last days of the 20th century with a blissed out yet deep morning hour dancefloor tune.
Jan drops a bit of drum n' bass spaciness on this one as DJ Moyda, his usual hard techno moniker. Look out for DJ Moyda's mix cd 'Moyda You In The Face' out now on Deeptech Sounds.

"Gravity Bomb" would work very well in a club. That wiggly synth-line is unusual and lifts the funky beat to another level. Brilliant.
