Why this name?
I wanted a name that reflected my message; music inspired by the most high! I helped to form a group that went by the name D.O.C.T.R.I.N.E. Years after we decided to continue solo endevours I felt a desire to keep the name alive, so I added the Jah in front, and my name is now Jah Doctrine.

yes Clubs, Bars, Open Mics, To spread my message i'll do a show almost anywhere.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows artists like myself to reach more people.

Band History:
By late 2007 Jah Doctrine released new single; "Dead Man Walking", and "My Story" a few months later, followed by "Hard Times". The response for these singles have been solid, garnering Jah Doctrine features on 100.3Fm or 100Jamz' Bahama Hot Ones Countdown with Randy C, 102.9 Island FM, Power 104.5 as well as More 94.9 fm. "My Story”, climbed to no. 3 on the Bahama Hot Ones Countdown, while “Dead Man Walking” also got a great response reaching no. 5 a few months prior. The success of these singles have not only helped to introduce Jah Doctrine to the Bahamian people but an international audience as well. With radio spins from Antigua to San Francisco, and performances at local events such as the "Make em Listen" concert series, and events at Club Infiniti. Jah Doctrine is making a name for himself. Following the momentum of "My Story" Jah Doctrine has been Interviewed on television shows such as the “Roots & Culture”, "Bahamas at Sunrise", "Controversy T.V.", "Bahamian Entertainment Television", and featured online at betvlive.com, Kemis.net, and makeemlisten.net.
