Hi, this is I.V. RoXx. I'm a singer/songwriter, devoted to pop music, in every form it's taken. My idea of great pop song is:
a) great melody
b)lyrics that make sense and people relate to
c)great melody
Seriously, I want to write songs that people can sing along to, not some kind of masterpieces that will only be understood centuries later:) So I'm a fan of the 3 minute, 3 chord songs which are hard to write but not impossible:)

Why this name?
It's just a mix between my first name and my all time favourites- Roxette, willing to change it if something more original comes along:)
Do you play live?
Haven't played in a while, but the connection with the audience while performing is the greatest feeling ever! Probably ranking 2nd, after the mighty orgasm:P
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's unbelievable, the exposure is HUGE nowadays!!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why not!
Band History:
Still an underground artist, but I have a solid base of followers, per se. They've always supported me and I am very thankful for that. The more people I meet, the more people like my songs, which keeps me from giving up. :)
Your influences?
Per Gessle of Roxette, Depeche Mode, George Michael, Darren Hayes, brit pop has a major influence on me too( Oasis, Blur, Manicstreet Preachers, Robbie Williams), as well as tons of house and techno tracks.
Favorite spot?
Chicago is one of the best cities on Earth, although it's very bitter in the winter:)
