Hate On Hold is a band with no musical boundries. We try alot of different styles so were not like everyone else and produce songs with strong messages.
Why this name?
After we found out our first name was already taken we decided to use Hate On Hold after one of our songs. It's not one of our best but it holds special meaning.
Do you play live?
We play everywhere throughout NY and trying to migrate to other places. There is absolutely nothing like playing out live. Anytime we play with other local bands it's always special.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The interent helps circulate music and word of mouth to alot of people who would otherwise look past local music talent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Name one band that wouldn't.
Band History:
Hate on Hold started out in 2000 as just a fun get together and then molded into a complex musical group. Our first live show was for a 9/11 Benefit Concert with some of the best loal talent that we still play along with to this day.

Stevie Ray Vaughen, The Offspring, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Nine Inch Nails, Stabbing Westward, Lars Ulrich, Nick Menza, Ozzy Osbourner, Silverchair.
