I'm a composer, orchestrator, and guitar player, writing music for film, t.v., and video games. I love writing lush orchestral works, but also powerful rock jams, and spacey ambient pieces, but also loopy electronic bits, pounding percussion, or scary experimental stuff. Do you play live?
I do play live, lately am the guitarist for the band for a comedy improv rock opera in Hollywood, Baby Wants Candy.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gets the music out there!
Your influences?
Wow. Too many to mention. From Bob Marley to Devo, The Sex Pistols to Stravinsky, Danny Elfman to Korngold.
Equipment used:
Several electric guitars, including a Music Man and a Strat, acoustic and bass guitars, and lots of various percussion and other noise makers! Lots of samples and cool synth sounds, like Reason and Digital Performer, too. I just started using a ToneLab for my recorded guitar sounds, and it's great so far!
