We are a band of ex-pat English teachers living in CheongJu South Korea. We play loud guitar based rock which we try to infuse with melody and harmony.
Why this name?
It was kinda random, we just thought it sounded interesting.
Do you play live?
Yeah, all the time. We play tons of shows in CheongJu, Seoul, Bucheon, all over korea really.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is fantastic way of finding and spreading new bands and new music. MP3s are a mixed bag, on the one hand they make distributing music online easy but there is a large decrease in quality.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
We were formed in 2006, 3 Canadians and a Scotsman. We are all English teachers who love playing music. We began by jamming on covers at local westerner hang out bar and got more serious from there. We released our first CD in 2006 and will release the follow up this year.
Your influences?
Well, we all like different kinds of music which we hope brings a fresh quality to the band's music. The main influences are Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Neil Young, the Doobie Brothers. There are tons of others.
Favorite spot?
Pearl Jam bar in CheongJu City in Korea!
Equipment used:
Guitars and stuff.
