Named after Hungarian born pianist and composer FÖLDVÁRI Gergely currently living in Budapest and New York, the Gergely Foldvari Trio (GFT) plays the frontman's post-bebop, latin influenced world fusion compositions, featuring virtuoso accompaniment to the lyric and dynamic improvisations and uniquely harmonised and melodious piano themes. GFT's double live CD "Sun, Rise!" (MusicBank - Universal) documents two fantastic concerts, with a great crowd. At their concerts, GFT regularely features guest vocalists and other instrumentalists.
