No Place Left To Go: No Place Left To Go
I should have gave you credit for the words I heard you speak
I should have been much stronger but I turned out to be weak
I should have whispered softly that I'd always loved you so
And now I have these words but they have no place left to go
I know I took for granted what I should have fought to keep
And now I toss and turn and find it difficult to sleep
I should have shown the things that I had wanted so to show
And now I'm left with words but they have no place left to go

My first band...: My first band was called Goldenweasel. It was some time during 1999, and I was only playing guitar for about 6 or 7 months and I met my childhood friend Tommy around that time and we would attempt to play music in my basement though we sounded pretty much like a very crappy no wave noise rock duo. We written a few songs that would end up on the first Patrick Lew Band demo on a 4-track Tascam, but there were no official demos or recordings from my first band Goldenweasel. Not that can I think of, unless someone from the neighborhood taped it from the outside of my house....
RIVER OF LIFE is at #7 on the charts!: And I just want to thank God again for the song, and all of you who have been faithfully listening to it! I want to thank Barry for the music, and singing, and Bill for his awesome guitar and the ending that is so great!! Please listen to the song if you get the chance! We would all really appreciate it! LOL!! It's been as high as #6 on the Christian Rock charts, and we hope it will get even closer to #1!! But, that's up to God, and I will be fine with whatever happens!...
