Musikmesse 2007: I went to the Musikmesse on Friday and had a dandy time as every year. I ordered a new fretless! I orded a Marleaux Consat Custom 6 Fretless Edition. I predict that it will have God's own tone.I checked out some of the new gear, and finally got to try out an Aguilar DB750, which, frankly, is da bomb. I'd love to check one out on a bit of a prolonged basis before I lump the two grand plus one costs. Blues-based song number one: So last night I started the framework for the first new song of my album. It's nothing more than a simple G, D, E chord progression and a bluesy riff, but it's a really good start considering the drought that I've been experiencing as of late. I think I'm having some problems with my Tascam recorder, though. The USB latentcy is making it almost impossible to record three minutes without it harming the waveforms.
