Why it's called Patrick Lew's Band on SoundClick: What happened in the Band of Asians era of my music career was creating ORIGINAL music. Instrumentals or songwriting. My college band or myself were at my home recording studio on the computer tinkering with PC programs such as FL Studio and Cubase to create new "electronic" sounds with the traditional rock music. The sound of my music in Band of Asians and after as my girlfriend Jenny labels it - Hard Rock, Alternative Rock, Techno (sometimes) and Grunge. Figuring I was fed up with the music industry and the newer rock bands in the media and MTV, I went back to my childhood musical influences...
