I like the summer rain, it refreshes this land, this region that has been my home for most of my life. I actually dislike the dry season; for several weeks we have two kinds of weather, warm and dry, and hot and dry; it gets banally monotonous after a while. There are people who live in a more or less seasonless climate and like it, and there are people who live in two- or four-season places wish that they could live in perpetual spring or summer...
