The Night that Hope Changed the World.: The night of the election I was home in my studio working, and watching the election results filter in. When I heard McCain's capitulation speech, I switched to a live video feed from downtown Orlando where thousands of people had gathered near City Hall. I thought "I have about a half hour before Obama's victory speech"..."I want to be in the middle of this when it happens". I jumped into my shoes like a fireman on his way to the pole, and out the door I sped. It took me about 15 minutes to get downtown. Lo and behold... the angels sang..and a parking space opened as I drove in to downtown Or...
