metamorph: It's been a while since I did anything on piano as pounding on it is so hard on the hands...but it good to know I can still do it every so often. Slide guitar is something I started messing around with a couple of years ago but dropped it for some reason so I decided to do a song with both. The piano is heard throughout on Metamorph while slide guitar does a solo for a few bars followed by a piano solo. I also do a tenor sax solo in there after a while. nouveau flamenco: I often wrestle with myself figuring out which style I want to play at the moment. There are so many styles I do that sometimes it's quite difficult for me. Jazz has always been my first love but Spanish style guitar whether flamenco or otherwise has been a close second. I recently began concentrating on nouveau flamenco because it was what I needed to focus on to alleviate much of the pain from my shingles. Oddly the medication for shingles I have has little affect on the discomforts of the disease but it sure helps with the arthritis situation. I can't remember the last time I could play ...
