New version of 'Keep It True' posted: Just posted a new version of my song 'Keep It True' at: www.reverbnation.com/michaelsworkshop Some of you may have listened to the version posted here on Soundclick on my Flying Frogs site - this for acoustic & nylon-string guitars and fretless bass. The new version is expanded and scored for Oboe, Cor Anglais, Cello, Steel drums and Sitar. Gives it a different flavor, I think.

But none of the following one were so brilliant like this one IMHO. Also the acoustics are very nicely played. Later I found Al playing in "Return to Forever" with Chick Corea. I was always fascinated about the scales and the preciseness and ease of playing them. If you don't know it already, give it a try, its worth it. Bits///...

My style has become more of a free feel jazz guitar (motivic) rather than the typical jazz one hears so much, although playing a traditional form is not a problem. The idea is not unique as one might think, as guys like Lenny Breau, Eddie Lang, Django Reinhardt, Jim Hall etc. used this approach. I adapted some of their style to us...
