Philerup: My son Phil plays with a rock band and is also a sound engineer. He sent me a few lengthy bass lines he created for me. I'm always up to a challenge to see what I can create with nothing more than either a vocal or a single instrument. In this case it was a bass line which was the most difficult to figure out chords to. He didn't play to a specific chord progression as one would find in a melody or a instrumental solo. More stuff with flugelhorn and classical guitar: Folks have asked me how come I don't play much of my nylon string guitar these days. I just couldn't record it effectively until now. I had to take a different approach when recording it so that the sound wasn't so dead on it. My classical guitar is a cheapy from way back from the early 70's which cost me under $100.00 new, so it never really had a great recording sound even with the best strings available.
