Updated my homepage: I just worked hard some days to get my website a cleaner look, and to get all my files online too. Just after starting a blog about my experiences with Linux audio software. August Mars Hoax: Two Moons on 27 Aug: Mars Spectacular, Aug 27 2007; A clam that the planet Mars will make a once in our lifetimes remarkably close approach to Earth will appear as large as the moon and give the appearance of two moons; is a fallacy....but every Aug we see this email coming back again. year in and year out. Seems the claim circulating via -email since August 2003, when Mars came within 35 million miles of Earth it's nearest approach in 60,000 years. At that time it appeared about 6 times larger and 85 times brighter, giving the impression to look as large as the full moon, not realizing that applied to viewing...
