Many people believe that If their good deeds outweigh their bad ones they will go to heaven. Being a teacher I know that would be a nightmare trying to set a compassionate passing/failing point. Suppose your spouse had a 50.0% rating, so she gets promoted while your score is 49.9% and since God does not believe in rounding off numbers you end up spending eternity in Hell. Also, is the weighing of deeds by our standard of goodness or by God's? If it is God's, (which it is) the passing percentage is 100% (a sinless life).
