As of March 2005 both Ghoul Detail and GDR have joined forces with Roil Noise and become a part of the collective of artists residing under the Roil Noise banner. This is a major step forward and there will now be official releases from both projects soon. Happy? Too f***ing right we are!

Why this name?
It was the name I chose when I was with "the Soundscape Gardener" whilst performing with "Ghoul Detail" who are also here at www.soundclick.com/Ghouldetail.
This page should be named G.D.R. as its the live face of Ghoul Detail. The R is for Rebirth.
Do you play live?
April 27th Old Black Lion, Northampton UK.

May 8th. Soundhaus, Northampton Uk supporting Katscan

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Without the Internet none of the music we produce would be possible, all the instruments through to the software we use was purchased or downloaded from here. Musically the Internet has given myself and "Soundscape" access to an audience further afield than we could have ever dreamt of.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe not Soundscape and I are happy where we are, we have a home with Roil Noise.
Band History:
At the end of 2003 I met "Soundscape Gardener" while temping after approx. 10 years of not seeing each other, we discovered our music tastes were very similar and as an experiment we played with some downloaded software, I mutated a kids toy drum machine and put together a few tracks. It sounded pretty good to us, so we put together the "Ghoul Detail" project including the webpage on soundclick.
After several months and personal commitments and problems we decided to go our seperate ways,

I took some of my work along to a local experimental music night, and to my shock the cd went down really well, everyone asked that I go back....but the next time I had to play live.

I had to find more arms to be able to do it and so Jon of Ghoul Detail was my first and only choice.
We played a few local experimental nights togeher and supported Katscan and Mechanical Cabaret at the "Soundhaus" venue.

GDR is now a solo project always open to help from anyone who's into industrial, noise and experimentation.
