Why this name?
Flux Oersted has no implied meaning.
Do you play live?
The internet has filled the need of finding an audience, and we now focus mainly on our recording arts.
Your influences?
Gary Numan did more than write "Cars." He inspired me to turn science fiction ideas into music. Kraftwerk and David Bowie influenced me in much the same way. My synth pop influences are more new wave, like The Cars, but also Brian Eno and Talking Heads. More recent music inspires me to do new things but it's that stuff from the seventies that forms the core of my musical soul.
Favorite spot?
Cedartown, Georgia, USA.
Equipment used:
Roland Juno 6, Moog Prodigy, Moog MG-1, Korg Poly Six, Casio CZ-1000 Cosmos Synthesizer, 3 Yamaha TX-81Z Multitimbral FM Synthesizers, Yamaha DX-21 FM Synth, RX-15 and RX-17 Drum Machines, Ensonic Mirage, assorted fender guitars, assorted softsynths, Cakewalk Sonar, GarageBand, Logic Express 7.
Anything else...?
He who controls information controls the past. He who controls music controls the future.
