We are called Floodgate. We are a new band in New Jersey. We play all over the New Jersey shore area and sometimes we play in the north of Jersey and even New York. Looking to spread our music all over Jersey and New York and hopefully the world. We have a heavy melodic sound to our music with alot of great musical hooks to it. I guess you could call us progressive rock. We don't real like to be labeled as a band you heard before. But as a band that tried to make a new difference in the rock world. Hopefuuly we could get that same feeling from our fans both from our cd and also playing out live.Band/artist history
FloodGate has endured mental and physical challenges and knows the feeling of a broken spirit. Above all, they are determined through music to heal as much as possible. Their lust of “Heavy Music” serves as a therapeutic device for fans and themselves.
Formed in Late 2002, this “Heavy-Hard-Rock Band” consists of three talented musicians. Andy Zazzali (guitarist) is the most mesmerizing-intense player in the local scene. A self-trained player and brief student of Leroy Wright (Zakk Wylde’s former guitar instructor, look for a Leroy link on www.blacklabelsociety.net) will entice you to the very end. Professional drummer, Mark Marciniec, weathers the storm providing constant thunderous footwork. Being the former drummer of bands Sativa Cross and Black Hole Vertigo he has shared the stage with major acts, such as Fear Factory and Machine Head. Tom Anzalone (Singer/Bassist) may be an example of prodigy at its best. A natural musician sings, drums, plays guitar and piano without knowing a single note.Have you performed in front of an audience?Hell yeah we play live. I think playing live is why a band is formed and it's the reason we are a band. Because it's such an awesome feeling playing live gigs. Its really cool to be in the studio also recording new music, but playing out live is the reason were in a band, bottom line. it's a awesome feeling. And its a dream we had since we were realizing that's what we want to do until we can't do it no more. Meaning when we get older like when were 50 years old or something.

Black Label Society, Ozzy, Helmet, Pantera, Metallica, Hatebreed, Fear Factory, Slayer, System of a Down, S.O.D.What equipment do you use?
Pearl drums, DW hardware, Marshall amps, LesPaul guitars, and things like that. To much to really list right now. Thats because im the drummer of this band. Can't really tell you what cymbols i use because i can't really spell it right now. Starts with a Z.Anything else?
