Hi! My name is Stephen "Fingers" Holly and this is my SoundClick homepage. You can download mp3s of some of my compositions and pieces, or visit my personal homepage at www.stephen-holly.tk
Why this name?
In my last year of school I was given quite a complimentary nickname, "Fingers", as I play the piano to a high standard. It was originally used in a charity concert poster and ... didn't really stick. But a few people still used it, perhaps most significantly my Head of House, Mr. Edwards. So I thought I'd use the name.
Do you play live?
Only in school concerts. I am very good at freeform improvisation, and have had very postive feedback from listeners at House Concerts etc. I also accompanied instrumentalists and vocalists occasionally and have played in my "House Band". Of course, I've left school now, but might try to start up a band when I get to York University.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Not at all.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah...
