FatBoiSlym consits of two individuals. FatBoiSlym was created to be an entertainment business. In the process of doing so we decided to include friends. The FatBoiSlym Family was then created. The family was created from 5 different rap/hip hop groups based out of South Carolina. We are like the South Carolina version of the dugeon family. The FatBoiSlym Family is made up of the groups D.I.B., D.M.P., Battlescarred, Atika, and HomeTeam.
Why this name?
We chose FatBoiSlym because it stood out. We wont have to change it in the future because it is a business type name.
Do you play live?
Our family will play live where ever we can be booked.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet helps the music industry because it allows local artist to be heard world wide.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes our family will sign to a major label.
Your influences?
Musical influence are everyone from the south and all the old classic r&b, hip hop, rap, jazz, blues, and gospel that was ever done to give us a musical ear and talent.
Favorite spot?
Favorite spot will have to be right here in S.C.
