Why this name?
The whole group knows each other since day one, I mean, since we were kids, we grew up in the same block as family, most of us went to the same school, graduated, and we got good sencimiliar in da hood. Some of us went out of Country for School and personal reason and meet later one to follow the path.
Do you play live?
We play and licensed to play live only in Haiti, we are in the process of going worldwide. We have licensed beats mostly from Blownup Records and from our own Haitian Engineer.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3 and internet give us a chance to show our works to millions of peole all around the world, that's a good exposure! Now people can download our songs for free or paid for performance, that's wonderful! The internet is the only way to success.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nah! we're still thinking about it, becasue in Haiti we don't beleive in Record Contract. FAMILY SENCI is an independant organization, we take care of ourself, we know the business, we know the game, we put the game into the business, right now, we not only in the game, we are in the business.
Band History:
FAMILY SENCI was underground for more than 13 years, couldn't come out because of the Country situations, cival war and stuff. But, we worked around the studio for about 5 years on a fulltime basis, we dropped our demo in 2004, went top in the chart in all radio, we're in the process of dropping our Grand premier this year and release our first album worldwide.
Favorite spot?
Kafoufey (Carrefour-Feuilles), the westside of Port-Au-Prince, The craziest West Indies City! That's the only City when there is a war, people can't mess with us, we're real upthere, It's a one way in and one way out, living the life of do or die! it's a thug life thing. In that kind of world we're living, we have to be a G.
Equipment used:
We use DJ accessories, we keep it simple, we don't like overheads, or we use requested equipments from the promoter if paid for it.

FAMILY SENCI is a gangsta reunion, joined by many clicks, many G. and collaborate with many MCs. We're all FAMILY and love that SENCI.
