Why this name?
My real name is Lorena Elizabeth Faitarone Benitez so it made sense to pick n' mix. So I chose my second name Elizabeth and when I married a noble English man I acquired the Ford as my surname. I'd like to add (since I've been asked) that the "noble bit" is not a fancy title but a quality in a man. Noble as in honest, great character. Lesson No 1.
Do you play live?
I'm actually terrified of singning in public. So I prefer songwriting to singing at the moment. I was told I have a nice Pop sound and I have auditioned a few times too, just to get as red as a lobster! Not a pretty face.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For the best.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely, if the record label likes what they hear and if I like what they have to offer then it's a deal.
Band History:
I don't have a band but if I did I'd call it ANGLAR as in Anglo-Argentine... or "The Avatars" as in a recent discussion on the Soundclick Forum.
Your influences?
Madonna - W.A.S.P - Jim Morrison I also love listening to Led Zeppelin - Whitesnake - Janis Joplin - Rata Blanca & Unsigned bands ( too many to list here )
Favorite spot?
Iguaz� Falls, North Argentina.
