Doctor Groove, a gospel spoken word artist, is a one-man show specializing in performance poetry which rivets the soul. He is one of the few poets who can work the crowd of a thousand people with no microphone. Some call him the "voice of thunder." He gained his popularity by reciting poetry on subway trains and various platforms in the city of Chicago. He is also an activist and has spoken in every venue imaginable.
