Why this name?
The first album was published under "DJ Starshot." After going through a hell of a lot of red tape, the name was finally changed to /DJS\, a shortened version of the former name.
Do you play live?
I play live shows wherever someone will hire me. Generally, I'll bring along my laptop and do sort of a megamix of a lot of my songs, sometimes even doing live impromptu mixes.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
If anything, it's helped small-time artists (Like myself get their music out into the real-time.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It honestly depends on what label it would be. I wouldn't sign onto Virgin records because of their notorious style of music, but, if Evolution Records asked me to sign, you can count me in!
