I got into Drum and Bass a little late, around 97' and I been mixing for fun shortly after that. Always wondered how tunes were made, so in 2005 i decided to give it a go.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
never say never
Your influences?
DJ Crystl, Photek, LTJ Bukem, PFM, Omni Trio, and many many others from the early drum & bass times. I missed the 92 - 96 era so I'm kinda going backwards in time at the moment checking it all out.
I try to keep some jungle vibes in my tunes.
It amazes me how the hell they made tunes so good in those days, many peeps can't do that now even with more technology available (myself included :-)
Equipment used:
Cubase SL3, Novation X-station 25, TR5 Monitors, Plenty of plug ins
Anything else...?
If you like drum and bass please check out and download (for free) Rare Grooves Vol. 1 from Zardonic Recordings - http://www.zardonicrecs.ve.tc/
It features one of my tunes, and 12 other deep tunes from some really sick producers. Grab the whole pack and spread the word!
