Check us out on Myspace and become a friend! Sit down and shut up, is what my mom always told
me. I think every one has heard that. But did you
listen? We didn't either. And now you will experience the the justly unjustified noise of DISCO VATO once again. field tested, and
proven to at least twenty people to be IT.
Improving ourselves with depravtion is a must.
It takes forests full of hardwood, factorys full
of batteries, and and four rectal thermometers
in preperation of even playing one
single note for anyone. Each song is sonicly broken into prime numeical equations and red shifted before they reach your ears.
Why this name?
Mr Bungle's Disco Valante, Our name means absolutly nothing.
It is just an identification, just as your name is
Mike Hunt. say it fast.mikehunt
Do you play live?
we play live anywhere anytime anyone will let us play. we enjoy being on stage and if a crappy night goes on around that it's still not so bad.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
the net has given individual bands the means to get their music out to a worldwide audience thus really taking out of the loop the very record labels that enslave free speach by judging for themselves what is good music, or rather what would make them a few bucks at the artists expence.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
if there was a way to tour without them,no
unfortunately they have many facets of this industry in the bag.
Band History:
Disco vato have been on the underground scene now since 1997. The name is a some what of a knock off of Disco Valante, Mr. Bungles second major release. Based in Panama City FL., this trio has played all over the southeast, with very high regard, and confusion from all who experience their live shows. Getting airplay from the Philippines to Nashville.
From the start when just drums, and bass fit the bill for situations involving the novelty of a high level of sound from a duo, with a pretty cut and dry approach to dynamics. To the notch in the belt tightening in 1999 with the introduction of a guitar. An element that Pushes the music beyond the realm of anything natural, thus creating an seemingly uncontrollable beast that looks harmless enough. Being an original instrumental band in P.C. FL. is like taking a dump in the middle of a crowd, and expecting them to like the smell. Fortunately their stinch was a pleasing aroma, and they pressed on. Playing clubs, festivals, houses rented with the sole purpose of a makeshift venue, and any other hole that has power.
Wayne Anderson , and Jason George joined forces in the year of 97.
Then in 99 they felt the need for another person that could fill the shoes of
their former guitarist, NO ONE. They soon found out that Skot Bazar (real name)
didn't fill the shoes of any one, he infact didn't wear shoes, not to play in anyways.
This band identified their selves as being totaly, and thoroughly original. Not at all
afriad to put thier personalities into thier music.
Jason George/bass
Jason plays the bass like it's just told him to go to hell. With his own little style of what he describes as " didgebass". A low rumble imitates from the bass as if a family of Aborigines live on his top string. His is a furiously impending, crunchy bass sound.

Skot Bazar/guitar and samples
Skot could not be considered anything short of genius. He is the prestidigitator of the guitar. He projects power, and at same time confusion to those trying figure out where a sound is coming from. Scott is involved in other projects, such as his solo, free improvisational work.

Wayne Anderson/percussion
Wayne is surely a candidate for torrets medication. With his odd meters, that sounds like he has fallen off his seat, then reemerges only to play something so strait that sounds processed. He literally plays with the whole band, emphasizing each instrument when possible. No note gets left out.
Your influences?
rock reggae punk experimental fluctuating high end low dirty crusty bass, guitars screaming on fire as we stomp them out with every drum we can get our monkey to let go of.
A live show is nothing short of tremendouse.
