Digital Explosion is a group that had a great success at mp3.com. The group is formed by two
brothers and this teamwork of creating effects, soundscape and melodies has always been inspired
by deep emotions, adrenalin inspired beats and swirling breaks. Those are key elements of composing
new and original uplifting dance/trance/techno music. With the talent and the imagination from many
years of working with music, Tero and Jouni are set to take their music to a bigger and wider
audience in the years to come.

Why this name?
It just came as an idea. Something digital, something explosive.
Do you play live?
We have been playing live gigs, just for fun. We been part of other groups, Tero has even played bas in a Heavy Metal group. Live is no problem for us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
No really, it has just change the way music is transferred. Music is something everyone should do for fun, not profit.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ofcourse, we would gladly produce a record and see how a studio recording and the studio staff could improve the quality and imagination in our music.
Band History:
We have our homepage at so anyone interested can check it out from there.
Your influences?
Personally I have many. I love the voice of Sheena Easton, the melodies created by the BeeGee's and I guess the style of 80's music is what I like to listen to.
Favorite spot?
I havn't travelled that much, but the most exotic place for me has been Taiwan. I often thought that Paris would be the city that I would like to travel to.
Equipment used:
We use synths, keyboards and soundmodules.
Anything else...?
We hope that this site could bring the kind of interest to the indie music scen, that mp3.com did a couple of years ago!!!
