Creeper the phoenix emcee is the unsigned voice of the desert. His sick lyrics and tight beats speak for a nation of lost souls. This underground poet is ready to rise to the surface to let his voice be heard. This young cat represents an understanding of the game and a love for making music. He became known to the local scene (Phoenix, Arizona); in 1996; with his group and their compilation album Devious Crew "Devious Ability". The single "Down By Nature" was a huge local hit. The album Creeper Loco "Point Of No Return" was the real starting point for a very talented musician. Production for this album began in early 1997. After being released; late-1998 ; the album caught the attention of several national recording labels and distributors. This was Creepers first real introduction to the music world; as well as the talent that he featured; but that was only the beginning. Don't sleep; on his latest release; Creeper "the Lost Soul Project". This album shows and proves that Creepers music speaks; on behalf of a lost generation; with a wide variety of topics and styles. Keep an ear to the street for the upcoming release Creeper "A Poets' Journal". This album is still in production but will definitely put Creeper in the spotlight. This album is a combination of poetry and street game. It's a breath of hope for a world in it's last days. It will include tracks by Creepers musical production teams (Evil Minded Creationz & the Sick Symphony). Also look for his newest tracks and features on the upcoming compilation Devious Music Records presents "Sick Phux". This album is also still in production, but features the hottest talent from the South West. Underground Mc'z with platinum material? Trust us- the album will speak for itself! There is also a new Devious album in the works- "A Soldiers Journal". When the label lost long time friend Dorian 'Master D' Dillard of Devious Crew; they honored his memory; by making their logo; a silhouette of his face. Since 1995 (when label was established) they have worked with several major label acts and released albums with nationwide distributors. Members of the label are paid royalties as 'ghost' writers and producers for several national acts. Now the artists of Devious Music are ready to step into the spot-light and take center-stage. The showtime has arrived! The talent on this label is slowly spreading a buzz ; with their undeniable sick lyrics and tight production. Every artist (even affiliates) from this label are capable of being the next 'multi-platinum' act that the nation hears about. The label has already produced several 'unreleased' videos. They have a few new videos in the works - no set release date- check back soon! The energy from these young poets' lyrics comes from deep thoughts and hard times. Their down to earth point of view offers vivid descriptions of street life and hustling. Every track executes; with a heart felt; strong performance. It's hard to explain why artists as talented as Devious remain independant. Their albums possess a very solid expression (creativity and quality music). This MC is the raw deal. He's one of those all around good artists that anyone can relate to. The label has already produced several 'unreleased' videos. They have a few new videos in the works - no set release date- check back soon!
