We are a new band blooming from the depths of the south bronx. Our sound is ever changing depending on who in the band is leading a project at any given time, so we can't honestly give any comparisons....but listen for yourself and draw your own conclusions...

We play acoustic sets for now since we have no stable drummer.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depending on the label's view of our creative freedom, yes.
Band History:
Delayed Reaction is a band from the south bronx founded by Imani Bland(vox) and Russell Miller(guitarist/producer). The band's founders met during a summer youth program in the south bronx and since then have been on a roll. They started off just as a duo with help from a bassist named Cristian Guity who will lend a hand here and there but decided not to stay with the band. Delayed Reaction's sound can be compared to that of Evanescence and Linkin Park, but they also can be VERY versatile. Currently Delayed Reaction has one fully recorded single named Set Me Free, which has become somewhat of a hit and defines the band's sound and theme. Delayed Reaction is going through a bit of a change with new vocalists and a new drummer.
